L is for Leaves


Happy Monday!  Here's our Falling Leaves letter craft for this week.  Here's what you'll need:
  • Blue construction paper for the background
  • Brown construction/scrapbook paper for the letter L
  • Green construction paper for the grass
  • Orange, Green, Yellow and Red construction paper for the leaves
Munchkin had fun using his glue stick to glue all the leaves on!

C is for Car


Happy Tuesday!  Here's our C is for Car letter craft - Munchkin liked this one so much that he's told me that he only wants to make car crafts from now on :)  Here's what we used for our letter craft:
  • Green construction paper for the background

  • Yellow, Orange, Red, Purple and Black construction paper for the cars

M is for Mail


Happy Monday!  Our Munchkin Theme is Mail this week.  As part of our mail fun, we'll be setting up a post office and doing some color and shape sorting with 'stamps'.  Here's what we used for our letter craft this week:

  • Legal sized envelope
  • Red construction paper for the letter M
  • Yellow foam cut with pinking shears for the stamp

B is for Bugs


Happy Monday!  This week's Munchkin Theme is Bugs!  Munchkin has been interested in things that fly and crawl lately (hmmm, could have something to do with it being summer!)  As part of our bug fun this week, we'll be going on a Bug Hunt and learning about the special jobs that each insect has.  Here's what we used for our B is for Bugs letter craft:
  • Purple construction paper for the background
  • Red construction paper for the letter B
  • Orange construction paper for the wings
  • Black construction paper for the dots and eye
  • Yellow construction paper for the eye

S is for Starry Sky


Happy Monday!  This week's theme is Stars & Sky, so of course our letter craft included both :)  This was our first time using glitter glue and it was a HUGE hit!  Munchkin loved squeezing out blobs of glue and then finger painting with them.  Here's what we used for our S is for Starry Sky letter craft:
  • Black construction paper for the background
  • Blue construction paper for the S
  • Yellow construction paper and white copy paper for the stars
  • Lots of glitter glue (I found ours at the dollar store)

Happy Monday! The little Munchkin LOVES tools.  He would rather go to Lowe's than any toy store.  He knows the names and usage of every tool that Daddy owns.  Here's what we used for our T is for Tools letter craft:

Happy Monday!  This week's theme is Trucks, so naturally that's what appeared in our letter craft today.  Peanut is starting to get into actually glueing the pieces of our collages down (as opposed to telling me where to glue them).  Here's what we used for our Truck:

E is for Easter


As much as the little guy thinks he likes glue, once we're actually gluing something he really only likes to direct me.  Hmmm, maybe that's why he always wants to glue ;)  Here's what we used for our Easter Egg E:

  • Egg shape cut out of pink construction paper
  • E cut out of purple construction paper
  • Scrap bits of various fabric/ribbon/yarn
